While the world was expecting a 4K phone from Samsung on their Note III or rather Sony's Xperia Z1 there came Acer's Liquid S2. World's first phone with 4K recording capability.
The Phone features a 6" screen which having a 1080p resolution does disappoint us. It boasts of a 2 GB RAM running on a Snapdragon 800 chip inside. The camera can shoot pictures of upto 13 megapixel. Apart from this the phone features a massive 3300 mAh battery and 16 GB of storage on board which of course, can be expanded up to 128GB using a MicroSD card. As far as the connectivity goes the Acer Liquid S2 is integrated with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS+GLONASS and NFC. When the sale goes on in October 2013 the phone will be shipped running on Android 4.2 which of course can be upgraded later.
Availability of colors as of now is restricted to Red and Black. The Phone will not be launched in US as of now, and will be showcased at IFA conference in Berlin.
